The Twin Otter is in the 25 euro/dollar class. (might be 29, we’ll see) That is a decision we took after a lot of discussion. See it is a pretty complete project. You get 3 base models and many variants, like normal wheels, tundra wheels, floats, amphibian, and ski, many of those in cargo and pax versions. in and many liveries. Try to find ANY MSFS add-on that offers a selection like that. It is also most likely the most modern model when it releases. As the Xbox is a platform we want to use we had to use the very latest technology. While we are not yet released I am going out on limb here and say that when we release it will be the most advanced modeling available. Big words and feel free to tell me if I am wrong when we release. I think it looks kick-ass.

Asobo yeni arayüzler vs. göstermiş daha önce görmedikleri fırsatlarla geliştirilmiş. Navigasyonlar yine MSFS’in varsayılan sistemini kullanacak. Eğer kendileri yaparsa fiyat artar diyor haliyle MSFS’in de kendi sistemleri iyileştikçe sıkıntı kalmıyor.
Ve uçağın hardcore olduğu vurgulanıyor. Sıradan bir uçak eklentisi gibi görünse de P3D tarafında daha önce yapmadıklarını yapmaya çalışıyorlar. Asobo’nun desteği sayesinde oluyor. Modellemesi, uçuş modelinden seslere, efektlere ve aletlere kadar.
Xbox tarafını da baya önemsiyorlar. MSFS konsol kullanıcılarına geldiğinde bu tarz uçakların dünyayı gezmek, eğlenmek için iyi olacağına inanıyorlar. Ailesiyle insanlar TV’de gerçek yerlere gidip daha önce gittikleri, gezdikleri yerleri simülasyon aracılığıyla görme imkanına sahip olacak. Tam VFR’lık bir uçak geliyor. Simülatörün kendi uçaklarıyla da yapabiliyorsunuz elbette.

Some of the less visible (audible) but very realistic features of this product.

The Electrical system is pretty well defined. You will notice the batteries have just enough power to crank the engines as you will see all lights dim a bit. This is rather normal for aircraft of the period but I think it has not been modeled before.

The Hydraulic system is also very well modeled. When the pressure drops, for example because you use the brakes or flaps you will see that indicated and will hear the pump topping up the pressure.

Over a 100 different sounds were recorded in the cockpit. Wipers, Crossfeed selector, Hydraulic accumulator, Gyro spool up and upon switching off the power spool down, leaver movement including microswitches, Yoke movement, Control lock placement, Break release, Doors opening and closing, starter sounds and so many more.

Climb and Cruise fuel burn realistic (only at full power does the fuel burn deviate a bit)

Single-engine performance including VMCA tested against the real airplane.

Realistic stall characteristics at all flap settings (that is a hard one to get right btw)

Accurate change in flight characteristics from MTOW to Low and empty weights
As with all our aircraft we only model Standard Operating Procedures, so no emergencies, failing systems, popping circuit breakers etc. The standard failure mode of the sim will work though, we just did not enhance that in any way.
